Unhappy Very scary mid corner turn in. Seeking your thoughts.

Hi All!

Hoping you might help with some of your experience. I just bought a CPO 2014 911 base Carrera (I'm on day 2) from a Porsche Dealership. The car has PASM, Power Steering Plus (hate it). I have owned several Porsche's over the years, but mainly Boxsters or Caymans. This is my first 911.

I made a turn today that scared the literal #%##! out of me . I was at a stop light, a car is in front of me. Light turns green, I'm making a hard left hand turn and it felt like the car wasn't turning, like the chassis wasn't connected. It wasn't just me that felt it, It actually upset my passenger quite a bit as well. I was maybe going maybe 15mph (again there was a car in front of me).

I've made this turn countless times in my boxster (09) and in my Cayenne (2014) and never ever felt anything like this. I drove it on a 20mile trip and didn't feel anything weird until this one moment. I didn't see anything on the pavement. I track cars and I do autocross, so I have some experience in driving dynamics and I've never felt anything like this before, bothered me a lot. PASM was on at the time (never had this option before). Has anyone ever had this happen to them? This is my first 911 and I don't think for a second this is rear engine type of thing.

I still have a day to return the car (I think.), And the car is a 1-owner CA car (where I am), only serviced at Porsche (the place where I bought it), no accidents on it. It's simply a stunning looking car, I was going to buy another 981 boxster until I saw this car and decided to try something new.

Can you guys offer any insight? Sorry to sound like I'm in a bit of a panic, but god this really did get me to white knuckle the steering wheel.

PS. Tire pressure is bang on, Tires are relatively new (Pirrelli P Zero's), Porsche just serviced it 2-days ago when I picked it up, alignment is good.
