Greetings all!

I am potentially going to step into my first Porsche with a 992 C2S, and among some things i noticed on my test drive, one seemingly minuscule detail glared at me: aside from always having to press the M button to activate manual mode, every time you come out of Drive, either into Neutral or Reverse, going back into drive resets to Automatic. This becomes particularly annoying when making a 3 point turn.

I know, not the biggest issue, but Im wondering if anyone out there has heard of a possible computer override to default the transmission ALWAYS to manual mode, both at startup as well as when switching between R and D.
