Another tesla driver.....
It happens once or twice a week. I get a Tesla driver pull down their window to tell me how fast their car is. It's like telling people how delicious a food is, or telling someone how a fragrance smells.
Talk is cheap. I'm all for a little friendly competition on the road (hopefully involving corners and braking - b/c in a straight drag race [the most abused and uninspiring of all automotive barometers] most 911s are dead meat against most teslas).
I would never in a million years broadcast any information about my car. I'm even a little timid to answer people's questions about my car. I guess that's why I'm not a Tesla owner - although I did just put a deposit down on a Rivian
Happy motoring all...

those guys are so annoying. They are even trolling Porsche on Twitter, saying their cars are the best, blah blah blah. Do they have a racing program?? Numerous Model 3's would try and race me in my GT3. Total garbage.
NO
NO
I own a Tesla and would never dream of doing something like that. I own/have owned 1000+hp cars and I don't see the need to run a big Ego and broadcast this, that, power, etc.... It's unfortunate in today's world where lots of people love to run their mouths. We're not all immature....

This is nothing new. Tesla drivers are idiots and they think their car is comparable to any other exotic car such as Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari etc. Most Tesla guys aren’t really car enthusiasts, they’re eco friendly people who want to save the world and because Tesla’s are pretty quick, it got them more interested in cars and they’ve looked at the “stats” online and found out that their golf cart is quicker than most super cars. Obviously any car enthusiast knows that 0-60 is only one measure and exotic cars are made for the track not the strip. But, Tesla fans are just cringey and they want to justify their “superiority” (not superior at all but they think so) and think that exotic owners are jealous that they don’t have a Tesla (not).
I don’t even pay them any kind anymore. Realistically a Tesla is comparable to a Lexus or low end bmw. Not that it’s a terrible car, but the Tesla owners put themselves on such a high horse that they honestly think exotic car guys view them as equivalent brands.
There’s no denying that a Tesla isn’t quick, but it didn’t matter if the car went 0-60 in .9 seconds, I would never view it as a super car. It’s quality, looks, exhaust sound and materials are shi*.
