What makes the 517 FMR particularly interesting is its origin. It was originally developed with vintage Porsche restomod builds in mind—designed to deliver a period-correct look while incorporating modern engineering and high-performance barrel technology. It’s a wheel that blends heritage with innovation, and that balance ends up working extremely well on a modern platform like the 992.1 Turbo S.
Even though the Turbo S is very much a modern performance machine, the subtle vintage influence from the wheel design adds a layer of depth to the overall look.
