Spacers on a 993 Widebody?

My father in law owns a 98 993 Carrera S (RWD). He recently got some Pss9s and as usual is thrilled with the package. He is running stock wheels and tire sizes.

Anyone know what size spacers will help fill out the fenders on a his car?

Finally, will stock 996TT wheels and tires fit?

Stock 996tt wheels are a great mod on these 993's with turbo bodies. No need for spacers AFAIK.

Cool thanks. Are the 8" fronts on a 996TT wider than stock 993TT gear wheels or do they just stick out more?

They are both the same size, 8x18. The only difference is that the 993 turbo offset is 52MM and the 996 turbo offset is 50mm for the front wheels. They shouldn't stick out that much because it's a small increase.

The rears are a solid inch wider though. That car looks like it could easily take 1" spacers all around.

I bet 996TT rims all around with 15mm spacers will work... Looks cool, but odd lowered with the stock rims.

Lowered too much it'll look odd but euro ride height or slightly less and it'll look so much better. Frankly, I'd just run 996 TT wheels without spacers.

K24madness is infamous around these parts
SCARGO has real nice wheel spacers. I used them on my stock wheels and they spaced the wheels out perfectly.

Ask for Rob 415-485-6026

ari
- 996 wheels - no spacers
- 993 wheels with either 15 or 17mm all round

I ran 17 rear, 15 front, on PSS9's larger pic http://www.qsm.com.au/cars/993TT_2018_1024.jpg
