The flanges are different-so not interchangeable as a bolt on.

The flanges are the same, but you can't use the hotside do to the clocking of the wastegates, same thing on the compresor side. The chra is the same.

They are not interchangable.

It may seem confusing in that 993TT and 996TT had a base "K16 turbos"
and an upgraded power package based upon the "K24" turbos

but they are not identical or interchangable so not relevant to each other unless
you are trying to compare compressor maps or flow characteristics??

the 996TT uses its turbos more effeciently due to its Variocam and being that they
dissapate heat better (new thing called water cooling). I have had and enjoyed both
with stock and modified turbos.
