Need a little 993 Clarification please

I know about the 97 Turbo S, however, was 1996 the only year for a GT2? I know there was a 993 GT2, but what year was it built? Also, was it sold originally in the US?

993 GT2 was not sold in the US. The 993 GT2 was made in several years.
There are some genuine GT2's in The US eg thread on Rennlist about "GT2 at Laguna Seca "-it has some relevent info to your questions.

Nice job Andial did in the conversion. Personally, I'm a purist; however, to each their own! The car's exceptionally sharp and will surely make someone very happy.
