Any way to flash a 96 ECU??

my friend says cant be flash. chip needs to be removed and programmed.

Best is to change to a later style ecu (97'), cheers.

You can definitely add performance software to a '96, but the process to do so is a little different then on new OBDII cars.

On a '96 it would require removing the ECU and physically adding a performance "chip". GIAC has some options available.
