Hey guys, so my 993 C4S will be delivered to my house within the next 10 days.....and i have a question! THe car has the front "turbo" airducts in the front bumper....are these real on the car that I've bought? or are they an aftermarket peice? ics can be seen here:

NOW, I see these on ebay ( yes I know that they are replicas...but are they replicas of an original Porsche part?) I just really like to make my cars look how they SHOULD look, and use factory or Factory replica pieces!

I'm no expert, but I believe those airducts were always aftermarket.

 

The one on the car you purchased are aftermarket. The one in the auction are replicas of the Turbo S air ducts. Since the wattage of the S duct fog lights were so weak, some aftermarket ducts came with higher wattage positioning lights.

Either one doesn't really matter because, again, these are replicas of the air ducts on a 993TT S. The C4S came with fog lights, period. If you want to go more original, you can always purchase the fog lights.
