I've always been an admirer of the 993 TT but never had the privilege to own one.

I just recently noticed that the fog lights on the reg TT varies from the TT S. It seems that most regular TTs have a lens covering the fog lights. The TT S on the other hand, on the ones I've seen pictures of, doesn't have a lens but a light and something that looks like an air intake (without the lens cover).

I'm assuming that the reg TTs I've seen with the TT S fog light set up, is an aftermarket mod, just like they sometimes have an S chin spoiler. Can somebody knowledgeable explain if the TT S always came without the lens and the TT always with, or if it was something one could order from the factory? Was it a Euro v. EPA DOT difference?

I'm also curious as to what kind of work and ducting if any, that goes into changing a reg TT to TTS foglight set up. A price estimate would be great to.

I'm also wondering if litronic lights and aluminum dials were an option on the 96" 993 TT.

P.P.S How much would one have to pay for a set of 993 TT hollow turbo twists with rubber? Could it be had as an even swap with 996TT hollow twists?

 

The picture with the TT and TTS show the difference in foglight set up. The regular TT looks nice without bumperettes.
