Question 1997 993 Turbo S Pricing?

Hey gents,

I've got an opportunity to pickup a '97 993 Turbo S (red, ~25k miles) but has been in an accident, has since been repaired and was given a rebuilt title. Just curious as to what you folks would consider to be a "good" deal for it, providing it passes a full inspection and there is no evidence of the repair work? The accident resulted in most of the front end of the car being replaced with new components.

I do have the VIN # if anyone can get any more information from it and there are no before pictures from the accident.

Thanks in advance,

Corey

I have only seen a couple of 993 turbo S's at auctions recently, if I recall correctly all of them sold well north of $300K. How much does the rebuilt title effect the value... usually on cars 30-40% is what you would deduct for the rebuild title, but a car like this is more of a special case, not that many come up for sale, its hard enough to pin down a price on a clean title example, but I would guess $200-250K
