This car must be on consignment. I do not think JS would allow his name to be used for someone else's exclusive gain. A celebs name is like a trademark - when you have the opportunity, you try to protect it.

Personally, I like the color. I am not a collector so i would never pay the premium, but I am guessing there are others that will. Recent price escalations in the Sports Car market demonstrate that price is of little importance or consequence.

WOW... That is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen!! I think it's worth every penny!!

 

Just to give you a heads up, That car sold on EBay about two years ago. I vividly remember it because I was bidding on it and the seller told me Seinfeld purchased it. If your interested I would really really check the carfax on this one, especially at $225,000.00 Good Luck Guys. Kenny

I believe those pics are from when it was a brand new car. If you look at the interior shots there is a date at the bottom saying 3 13 97. Also the car only has 30 miles on the odo in that shot... Still, he does look after his cars, so it would probably still be close to that condition.

 

did someone say they saw this car advertised in the NY-Times or something...might be interested but would like to cut the middleman out.

 

in seriousness the car can be purchased for circa 125-150k

 

i think the color could be a one off--i think the other turbo s's were Riviera Blue kind of like the mexico blue. I live in CT and have always heard good things about sloan so I guess it is up in the air on that one. If someone wants me to go and take pics of the car I would be more than happy to it is probably about 35-40 minutes from me.Maybe there is a candy machine down at Sloan I am dying for a Twix.

 

I wondered the same thing. It's not like he needs the space or more importantly the money. For a Porsche freak like him this is strange to me. Nice car.
