I recently dropped in at TruSpeed to take a peek at their current inventory and saw (drooled) over the Turquoise TTS. It is stunning, and I agree that the phone option is a bad option. Anyways, on the car is a description of the car's options and ownership history, and guess what...an asking price of $249,000 !! Awesome car though, wish I owned it.

Yeah these were the ultimate porsche, last aircooled and had an extra 24 horses....I belive they were 170K new.

I saw one recently at Rockville Porsche (not for sale), it was dark grey, looked like it had been sitting in someones yard, tires were half flat, dents in it, interior was trashed a real tragedy , this might be my all time favorite porsche.

Anyone know how those wheels were painted? It must be able to be duplicated? They look great! Other than Carrera GT, this would probably be my number one choice Porsche ever (street car).

Sorry if this is a bit off topic but my neighbor has this car but not a turbo, his is a Carrera 4S (or carrera S)? Its the same exact color, is this a really limited color or something that adds to the value of the car? I was wondering if it was a special Porsche or something.

I don't think they want to sell the car. Nice but if you inquire they don't respond. The 2005 Turbo S 996 was also wider stance as all S cars are. The PCCB brakes standard and I also believe but don't actually no the numbers that they were a limited car. I have a Turbo S cab and believe it was 1 of 400 or something. Don't really care just like the looks of the S and like the smaller production groups.
The Turbo S in 1997 was also as all S cars More Hp.
