My 1997 C4 Cab has been with me 6 years and most of this was done in the first two years.

The best mod was the Euro transmission.

On the outside; I removed the bumperettes and installed the Euro clear markers, then I added the OEM Aerokit II with brake light.

Underneath; Tower brace, O30 Suspension including sway bars.

Motor; Andial 2 deg timing block, motorsound intake and exhaust, cargraphic 100 cell cats, Ruf muffler tips.

Inside; Atiwe steering wheel, aluminum gauge rings, Ruf pedals.

One of the best mods I ever did to my 993 was removing the cats.

Lowered my 1996 993 Cabriolet, short shift kit, air cleaner box and free flow exhaust. Then I drove the wheels off it!

Mods? A few too many... Here is a thread showing the single turbo setup I built for mine. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=93992

In addition to all of the supporting hardware for the turbo setup I have also done the following:

SSR GT3 wheels powdercoated gloss black
Better bodies front splitter
Better bodies fog light brake ducts
MA shaw TT rear wing
Vertex 4300K HID’s
H&R springs
Braided stainless brake lines
Hawk Pads
Front stut bar (forget the brand right now)
Lower steering rack support
Lightweight battery
New OEM engine harness
RS fan pulley
Powdercoated fan and housing

Whoa! I'm going to be in the market soon having just removed all the mods off my car and I like the idea of no AWD. As far as cost:benefit, do you have more in it than the cost of a market 993tt? Or more than $35k in it? I had near $40k in my M3.

No, I am nowhere near the cost of what a stock, same mileage, similar condition factory 993TT would go for.

Thank you for sharing. I was reading your other thread and very impressive. I'm hoping as I get closer perhaps I can solicit some advice. I appreciate you posting this very much!

I had a pretty good mod list going and stopped short of the HPF Turbo for the S54. The stage II puts out over 6oo RWHP, but uses race fuel and meth to get there. I was offered a deal including transport to Oregon from Minnesota for $23k for the kit installed. I already had near $40k in it and decided against that since I really want another P-car. I've owned a tricked out '78 911SC euro that had a split case rebuild with mahle pistons, webcam grind, long mod list, and also a 996. I didn't like the latter very much and then jumped over to the M3 Cabrio. I love the 993tt but not real kean on AWD - I've also owned Audi's and not into the AWD thing but the tt is a monster. Anyway, I've wondered about doing exactly what you've done so seeing this really pushes me in that direction - perhaps a 993S. Thanks again!
