My new Track prepped 993 C2

Hey Guys,

I thought I’d introduce my new Porsche. As some may know, I had a 996 GT3 for about a year that I absolutely loved.
I started doing DE’s with it almost immediately after I got it but seeing so many nice cars (plenty GT3’s) get wrecked at the track, I decided to get something worth less money, just in case I happened to put it in the wall.

So I posted a thread on Rennlist in January about track 993’s and was contacted by a nice gentleman from Michigan who happened to have a very nicely setup 993. He also happened to have been thinking about upgrading to a GT3. With a background of being a PCA instructor for 10 years and a fully setup car with which he was able to constantly set the lap times within 1sec apart, he wanted to get some new challenges.
Fast forward a few weeks and I had traded my GT3 for this very 993.

So here she is, a 1996 Polar Silver C2.

Mod list:

Transmission re-geared 1 year ago, new steel syncros, by Steve Weiner
Light weight flywheel, RSR clutch
LSD with Porsche Sport parts
Moton Club Sport suspension
Cargraphics oil cooler
RS Big Reds (brakes)
RS Sway bars
DAS roll bar
Sparco Evo seats
RSR Mufflers
36k miles, Polar Silver
RS rear wing and front spoiler
evo uprights, new axles, bearings
longer studs F/R
18” Turbo hollow spoke wheels
18” Kinesis K28 wheels with Michelin Pilot sport cups

Mods that I’ve done afterwards:
18” BBS LM for street use
New Bosch headlight lenses
6000k HID’s

Mods on the to-do list:
Dach-X pipes (on the way)
3.8RS tail
GT2 front
Steering wheel
Remove interior carpeting and sound deadening

And some photos:

really nice car. Looks like Harvey Yancey's (just like it). Where are the DACH pipes coming from? I'm hoping used, otherwise I missed something serious

This car is Chuck Price's old 993. We traded cars so he's got my GT3 now and I have this brilliant track beast and a nice balance on my bank account...

I bought the DACH pipes used from a rennlist member. You actually helped us out with determining if they fit my 96 or not.

And thanks for all the comments, I really enjoy this car!!

Here's a few photos from past weekend:
