Selling My 993 Cabriolet

After owning 2 other earlier 911s, I thought this 1996 993 Cab was going to be my "forever" Porsche and I set it up the way I liked for optimum performance and factory reliability.

Well, the choice for my forever Porsche changed when I drove a friend's 996 twin turbo. WOW!

I bought a nice twin turbo 996, so my 993 Cab is now for sale. About 69,000 original miles. Wembley Green (a stunning and very elegent color) paint, black leather interior. 6-speed, good AC, wind deflector, factory 8 speakers, & 6 disc CD player. Porsche cup wheels, leather Sport seats and more.

New Michelin Pilots and new battery, short shift kit, professionally lowered, free flow exhaust and air cleaner.

It is well sorted and runs strong with no smoke or issues.

I am asking $31,900 and the car is in Connecticut, about 1 hour north of New York City.

Thanks. I also listed it on Craigslist (a first for me) last night and already have been contacted by a local guy today who wants to buy it. We'll see.

The guy on Craigslist flaked out and now tells me is is going to buy a Maserati instead. Go figure!

So the car is still available for a new home. Although I must admit each time I drive it I reconsider selling it as this is actually a more fun car to drive than my modded 996 TT.

After driving it again after some time, I have decided to keep this car and sell the 996 Twin Turbo instead.

If anyone is interested in buying my 2003 996TT, it's amazing - and more car than I need. 9,000 original miles and 500 HP at the four wheels. Asking $85,000, which is a lot less than I have in the car. Contact me for photos of info. The car is in Connecticut and in MINT condition!
