**help! Hood Release Broken**

It seems as if the cable that connects to the hood release on my 993 broke. Does anyone know of a way to open the hood or fix the hood release?

Thanks

Use the emergency release loop. Remove the right front wheel well liner. Look for a wire with a loop on its end; pull that wire, and you'll release the bonnet (hood) latch.

is this for all Porsche vehicles? I have a 2011 Porsche Panamera 4S and my hood release in unresponsive. I removed the lever and the cable isn’t detached there so the problem is elsewhere but even when I pull in the cable with pliers, it’s unresponsive. Is there an emergency release loop for this as well? Thank you for your time
