Anyone know this car?

There's a silver 993 w/ TPC supercharger on ebay that I am interested in. It is located in Savannah, GA at a place called Savannah Sports and Imports. Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching&vi ewitem=&item=130255746294&_trksid=p3907.m32
I'm looking for any information on the history/condition of this car as well as a trustworthy shop around Savannah to do a PPI for me. Any help is much appreciated.

I don't know anything about the SC system on it, but it looks to be a pretty clean car.

Looks good to me, but the seats look a little worn for the milage. Any one else notice the spare is mounted upside down? The stereo install is not the greatest. Other then that, it looks good. Of course 400hp is very attractive.

back to the drawing board

Thanks to everyone who responded. FYI - the guy selling this car is completely clueless. He knows nothing about the car, and on top of that doesn't seem to want to sell it. He has been nothing but a pain in the *** on the phone, and has made it impossible to get a PPI done on the car. So, I'm looking again. Sometimes, you have to trust your gut when something doesn't smell right. Who the hell is going to buy a car like this sight unseen?

I live in savannah. I know a shop called Carter Racing Enterprises. Great stop. I take my cars to them and they always get the job done. I am personal friends with the owner and most of the employees. If there is any way I can help let me know.

I didnt click the link till just now, but I am familiar with the car. It has been on the lot over a month. I stopped by and looked at it not too long ago. Its a clean looking car. I have a couple of friends that own private dealerships in the area that may know the owner of that shop. I can still ask for you if you decide you want to reopen the door to the car.

thanks

DCZ - I am waiting to hear back from the guy today. He said the took it to German Auto in Savannah to be looked at. Who knows what that means, though. Depending on our conversation, I may have your guys check it out. Thanks for the recommendation.

yeh, german Auto is a decent place... They have done work on a couple of M3's that my friends own. I dont know if I trust them too well... Its a small shop and seems pretty unorganized.

The link to the people I know are www.carterrace.com it specializes in imports, but the mechanic, Jay, is currently restoring a porsche and really knows his stuf well.. Check them out. There is also a porche dealership on 278 in Blufton, SC that could possibly look at it.
