when i check the fuel cap it say use min 98 RON . my car is stock not chipped.

Porsches for years have been saying that, all the way back to the 80s, but in reality the cars are tuned to work with 95 RON as they know 98 RON is not available everywhere. The true reality I've found though, is with a well taken care of car, and the stock chip, these motors can actually work fine on fuel as low as 92-93 RON, not that that's what I suggest anyone use.

on a side note, I always wondered why my gas mileage is so bad: 15-16mpg, but then I realized that I floor the damn thing every chance I get. At least gas prices stopped being 4.99 a gallon

My last car , a 1996 C2 tip, varioram, running on RON 98 , delivers 285 bhp.
You can try to reset your chip by disconnecting your battery for about a few minutes. Drive with your tip manually, shifting gears at ± 4500 - 6000 rpm. You will see the difference when driving fully automatic.

Have you changed the exhaust system or is there any leakage?
Did you check the ignition system and spark plugs?

my car has the original exhaust system i dont no if there is any leakage ill check as the car sound little bit loud . ignition are new also spark plugs. i think 285 on the wheel is impossible the number would be correct on the crank as there is drive train loss of about 14% ?

Your also in Kuwait. I bet it was over 100 deg out & about 1% humidity? That will change the numbers, & not even dyno correction factors will really help that much.

I would just drive it, & enjoy it, & not to to much into this.
