How are the Light, Fog Light, etc. switches removed?

Is there some trick to getting the external piece that you pull or push off without going behind the dash?

I need to get access to the light switch to troubleshoot why my instrument lights are dead.

You unscrew the pull (where the light is) then you use a pin tool (look for 2 small holes behind the switch pull) to unscrew the bezel from the switch.
