997C2S for 993C4S
I'd like to hear your driving impressions as well since I'm looking at either a 997 or 993.
Truer words were never spoken. I also have a 996, but I find myself behind
the wheel of my 993 most of the time.
Dunit, congrats on getting a beautiful Porsche!

Thanks for all the kind words. Numerous reasons why I made the switch:
- The opportunity to own what is and will always be a classic.
- The 993 should never depreciate.
- 997 drove amazing but very computerized. The 993 has a true raw handling characteristic that feels very porsche.
- In this economy less debt... lower payment... and again should not depreciate.
- Classic porsche styling.

i was thinking the same thing.
i'm torn between getting a 993 c2s or a 997 S. do the feel the 993 is considerably down in hp? the 993 in the aero kit makes it the best looking 911 ever. close runner up is this:

i've also considered a 3.6L 965 but i have a feeling that will cost more than either of aforementioned cars.
