993 cab pricing

My brother has a '98 Cab- 22k miles, black/tan, cruise, cd changer, perforated leather seats and he wants to sell.
He has bought multiple Audi's from his dealer and has the Porsche serviced there. The dealer told him to ask mid 30's for it as a private seller.
Is this accurate? It seemed to me that they were going for a bit more.

Seems a little low given mileage but depnds on condition...... Tiptroniic or 6-speed? Will make a HUGE diff in value. GLWS.

PS. DON'T BELIEVE THE "PRIVATE SELLER" BS......... HE CAN GET AS MUCH FOR IT AS ANY DEALER IF IT'S TRULY A NICE EXAMPLE, UP TO DATE ON SERVICE AND NO BAD HISTORY. LAST OF THE AIR-COOLED 911s!

It's a 6 speed. Always dealer maintained. It's a very nice car. I wish I had a bigger garage.

That's a $40k car given no accident history and no SAI problems ... I just sold my 97 C2 cab with 90k miles for $33.5k.

Thanks, guys.
He let it go for $38k. The only story was that his wife wanted it gone. I was just trying to stop him from giving it away - someone offered him $30k and he was considering it, and that's when I put up my first post.
