Thinking of getting a 993, couple of questions
Hey everyone,
I am looking to get my first 911, and I have been reading a lot, and going back and forth between a 996,997 or 993.
After everything I have read, plus for the styling, I am really thinking of a 993.
One in particular I am thinking of buying is a 95 C2.
It's in very nice shape, more than a few owners.
Has about 90k miles on it, and just had a bunch of work done on it so it should be in pretty good shape.
Almost all original.
I know these go for much more than a 996, but what is a decent price for something like this? Assuming it checks out mechanically with a porsche mechanic.
My other questions are, I want to drive it, so if I put say 10k miles per year on it, and I get it up over 100k miles, am I going to destroy the value of it, or do these hold there value even in the upper mile ranges?
Final question is what is the maintenance/reliability of these 993's? I don't want a money pit. I understand it is 17 years old, and will need work, but are these generally pretty reliable?
Thanks and sorry for the long post!
