clutch replacement on 1996 993?

I'm starting to suspect I'm losing energy in the clutch. Wondering if I should have it replaced. Can anyone describe the symptom of a worn clutch? It's never been replaced in my 993, and I'm having a hard time getting the rear wheels to spin on pavement from a standstill. That didn't used to be the case when I bought this car back in 1998.

Also, does anyone have recommendation for replacement kits?

Appreciatively,

mtf

993c4sdreamer is infamous around these parts
I recently had the local porsche dealer quote me $3,800 to do a new clutch using all new porsche parts. Basically bringing it back to stock yet new standards.
