fair price for this 993 C4S

Luis and others, I'm new to this forum and I am asking your expertise in valuting & evaluating this fine C4S that did not sell on ebay. I currently own a loaded 996 C2 aero and I'm looking to "trade up". Thanks all. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3773799&rd=1,1

Looks nice, but the car's been lowered and no mention of how (maybe minor). The ECU explanation is weird. How again does it effect shifting on a manual car? snow tires means it may not be well taken care of (outside of the obvious exteriors). The low miles makes it worth a look and possible PPI. I'd say mid to upper 30's unless its really clean then low 40's.

Looks nice, I wonder how many winters it has been driven. If it passes a PPI and you pick it up for $40k, you got yourself a deal. C4S's are still holding their value strong and cars in the $30's usually have more miles and are not in very good condition IMO. Good luck! Keep us posted.

That looks like a nice car. I love the black rims.

Thanks guys, that's some good points that I will ask the seller. Can anyone recommend a reputable Porsche shop for PPI around Atlantic City, NJ?

If you don't get any good answers here, try contacting the local PCA president. Local PCA guys are usually pretty dialed into who's good and who's not

I was thinking about the car for a daily as well. Guy said firm at 50k. I think the car is overpriced. 40k and a clean PPI it is a good buy.
