tether system for 03tt, location?????

need some help on this one, the owners manual illustration and description clearly state to attach a child seat in the rear seat a tether system should be used. the manual then goes on to describe the location and show a picture of where it should be on the rear deck centered right behind each rear seat back. my car has two flaps, more rearward than the pictures indicate but no anchoring points for the tether. the dealer states that the anchors are to be installed upon delivery of the vehicle. does anyone utilize this method of installing a child safety seat? any input would be greatly appreciated. our daughter is one year old and currently sits in a britax roundabout, however not in the pcar because we cannot anchor it securley enough.
thanks in advance.

on the rear deck there should be some cut outs. Pull the cutouts back and under the carpet and foam, there should be a metal anchor/ hook to attach the car seat too.

If you have the BOSE subs behind the seats you'll see the flaps in the carpet but the hooks to the car will be further back underneath the Sub enclosure. You may need to remove the sub enclosure to install the harness then put it back, once the harness is attached.

Is this the same for the cab back seats? I could never find an anchor. Anyone have pics as to exactly where the anchors are?
Many thx

the tether anchors are definately there, right at the hump of the rear deck should be a forward facing flap covered with carpet that is easily accesible, right past that going towards the rear of the car you will see an outline of the same dimensions in the carpet, it is faint but should be there, if you pull up on the front flap and stick a screwdriver in the rear flap it should pop up revealing the tether anchor bolted to the chassis. like i said they did a good job camoflauging the rear flaps.
