Britt,

I have a guy out of the Orlando area that will travel to your home and install it. I have his email address at home and will send it to you tonight... He has been used by many very satisfied customers. He is going to custom cut one for my Techart type 2 when I get the new one. Very reasonable I may add. They have a kit for the standard Turbo front and he has done several.

A slight color variation over time is better than chips b/c you can always change the film after a few years. If you track a lot, and you really want to protect the nose, a bra over the plastic literally gives 100% protection without sand/dirt getting under the bra and scratching. Although I don't use a bra on top of the plastic, it is an interesting option to consider both (esp. the SpeedLingerie that is a color matched leather bra and side mirror covers.) The one nice thing about the plastic is that you can use polish rather than wax and almost rub with any type cloth to touch up bugs and junk on the nose and you don't need a shamois (?). On darker cars there is a tendency for the wax to collect at the junction between plastic and car leaving a skinny white build up. It is easy to wipe away, but on a white car this isn't as visible.

Britt,

A local installer does have its benefits should you need some touch up work. You could always swing by Brumos and see who they send their cars to.

Britt,
its a must. If and when it does turn yellow, then just do it again. Not a big expense for piece of mind, IMO.
