I would like to build a turbo that can go to the track in street form (street tires, pump gas) and do this:

Very impressive!

From Viper Alley:

They were Pirelli 345's. on some 20 inch black HRE's. We went to the staging lanes to check them out ourselves.

This was posted by Underground Racing themselves:

We were on 20's. We tried the P-zero and the Nitto 20's, BOTH street tires. They were both real close! P-zero had the best 60 ft. 1.60 60ft times. We have detailed video to back it up and for all the haters this was at a track event not a private track rental! Will post the video ASAP. Track was ok but not the best yesterday. Faster times to come soon. Test were done at 12 psi

I'll trade you my car for your car if you want to do that!!

Anyway, If you turn up your boost, why could you not easily make more power with 110 octane, I know it's not 93, but you have a little motor that really limits the big power on pump. Speaking of that... what is the highest hp P-car on 93 octane and no meth or other crap???

I am guessing you own a twin turbo Viper? No I don't want to trade, I just want to build my car to do that!

The Viper in the video is making 1000 rwhp on low boost, so my car is far from able to make that kind of power.

Not sure what the highest hp is on 93 is a couple guys on the board have about 850 rwhp on race gas. And we have 2 tt's that have run 9's but that is on race gas, drag rubber, etc...

12 PSI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But seriously though, how do you get a 1.6 60' with street tires on a 1000 rwhp car? And the track was just ok????????

Hmmmm.................

No replacement for displacement..........and a couple of turbos don't hurt either! The Vipers are much easier to launch than the 996tt.You can do a real standing burnout(no psm)so you are able to really heat them up.On the 996tt,yeah we run D/R's but really never get them hot and are relying on the cold traction advantage over a steet tire.Drag radials on a 996tt work marginally better than a street tire after a good burnout on another car.I have cut a couple 1.70 60 fts on my previous stock Viper with Pilots ......but I got them hot.I don't think you will ever see a 996tt run a 9 sec pass on street tires(not d/r's) and on pump gas. Thanks for sharing Buddy, cool video!
