Question Newbie Needs Help--Cargraphic Pedal Connection

I just go an 02 Turbo on Thursday and I am very, very happy with the car. This morning my car would not accelerate so I checked the connection to my gas pedal, which are the Cargraphic Pedals, and discovered that the acceleration "rod" was pushed down and not connected to the pedals. I pushed the rod backed up and am able to drive the car; however, the gas pedal is not directly connected to the rod and the pedal can be moved all the way forward. There appears to be a hole in the gas pedal that might be the place to connect the pedal and the rod, but I can't get this to work. Is this rod supposed to fit into the hole in the gas pedal and if so can anybody offer any advice on how to effect the same.

BTW, my Turbo is basalt black, graphite gray interior, HRE 540s, H&R Springs, Evo MS exhaust, diverter valves and short shifter.

Thanks.

Went to Leith Porsche and they fixed the pedal for me free of charge (didn't even buy my car from them).
