996TT - 997 GT3 Brake question

I just bought a full brake kit (steel rotors/red calipers) from a 997 GT3 with less than 900 street miles... I would like to put these on my 2002 996TT (minus the front rotors of course) and was curious if anyone knows if they will be a direct fit. If not, what kid of modifications will I need to do? The rear rotors appear to be larger as well. If they will fit it looks like I will have a set of 997 GT3 front rotors that are in great shape for sale and if they don't fit I will have to sell the full kit. The front calipers look just like the 996 GT2 front brake kit I currently have on my car, but its hard to tell if there are any minor changes... Thanks in advance!

I know - sometimes I get ahead of myself! Some of my friends at the track have 997 GT3's, so I figured if they didn't fit my car or I couldn't sell them, they could always at least use the rotors. But, I'm sure I can at least sell the calipers on ebay as a last resort if I had too..

There are several 6 pot kits floating around for the TT that are direct bolt on.

Neil helped me put mine on yesterday, no problems at all. You may want to just sell them and get ones that fit, but that's assuming the ones you have will take too much work.

I already have the EVO GT2 brake kit I purchased from Sharkwerks about 6 months ago and they work really well... I bought these because I was told they would work on my car and that the rear set up was bigger (by looking at them next to my car, the rotors are bigger but I think the calipers are the same size), so I thought I would give it a try. If they don't fit (or it takes too much modification) I will just keep what I have and sell these... By any chance, do you know where to get 2 piece rotors with aluminum hats to fit the 996TT?? Thanks!

We dont have many options for our cars which sucks. I just want some slotted rotor that dont crack easily myself. I have been looking into that as well, if I find something, I'll let you know and please you do the same.

I found a place that can make a 2 piece rotor with aluminum hats (slotted or cross drilled - 350MM) but they cost $1500 to make. Considering I have to replace my rotors OFTEN, it may be cheaper long term depending on how long slotted will last as opposed to the OEM rotors and how much it will cost to replace just the rotor (without hats) on the new set up... I will let you know if when I get more info.
