Long time Porsche owner (Boxster S, now) Looking to upgrade. I have been searching for 4 months, found a 2002 Black/Black on EBAY, it didn't meet reserve, so I contacted seller.

What do you think?
I am not familiar with Techart Exhaust/DME????
Is K40 installed at $1500 any good.
What happens if I get the car to the dealer and they deny repairs due to chip(which I am told will happen here in Atlanta).

don't know much about the warranty but the price is pretty good. I paid similar $ last month for an 02 Black/Black with 7K miles, K-40...

Ask Hennessy to run the VIN through Porsche and get the skinny on the car. Then ask them if they would do the warranty work for you (feel them out) and finally ask the Ebay seller if it can be inspected at Hennessy and you'll buy if it "checks out." The price does sound good BUT what about a brand new guards red over tan leather TT with front painted slats red, yellow calipers (not PCCB) and red belts for $118,000 with like 11 miles and full warranty from Paramount Porsche in Hickory, NC?

I have been over to Hennessy, and really enjoyed my initial contact. I will go over there again, like you said. The car is in Phoenix, and I will get a local PPI.
Red/Beige is nice, but Black/Black is the only way to go!

 

Anybody Know what the cost of a stage 1 Techart Upgrade (Intake/DME/Exhaust) is?
Anybody have this?

 

Id guess Techart stage 1 is in the 6-7K range...
