2003 GT2 or 2007 TT?

Paul - get a 996 GT2. My thoughts are that it will ALWAYS retain its value better as compared to a 997TT. There is only a limited number of GT2's in existance and they are very sought after. The 997TT will eventually go the way of the 996TT whereby you can find one now for $45k at auction. Go for the GT2...

I was always tweaking my TT to improve it to be more GT2-like and finally gave up after spending big $ as it couldn't quite get there. If you can be happy with the less visceral but great all weather interceptor feel of the turbo, go with it. I wanted something with the primal feel of the GT3 with torque. Not easy to find outside of the GT2. The 2 is a much more rewarding experience from my perspective.

Only thing wrong with the question is you didn't give us any info on who you are and what you want to do with the car. How do you feel about a warranty? Are you going to use this car as a daily driver? Do you ever need rear seats? Are you using it as a track only car? How good/experienced of a driver are you? If you answer these questions honestly...it will be obvious which car to buy...IMHO
