HEY!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME BUDDY!!!!!!!!! you did awesome!!! got out of the hole better than I did...>!!! good for you!!! I tell ya, with a bit more practice... You'll shed some time and rock that track! Markski is right...I do bang the gears pretty good once I get going... so...that will be next lesson...lol.... did you get a chance to video any of it...?? also... I dont think taking air out of the front ones is nec... It may all together add drag if anything....but.. you may want to check with someone else on that one... lol.
Where you shifting?
what did you do on what gear?
1st 6500? 2nd to 3rd 6200 etc etc..?
and where were ya launching?
All in all ...WOW so happy for you bro!! congrats!

Nice runs for first time out.

There was a time not too long ago when this type of time was not done with such
simple mods.
These K24/18G turbos (please correct me if I am wrong) are running THE BEST
times for just turbos/tune/exhuast!! Is this correct?
KPG or Scott, can you verify this?

Nice job Air Jordan and D'Maffo: this appears to be the highest performing
stage 1/2 kit there is and some people felt there would be alot of lag with
these turbos...evidently not

-no video
1st gear i think launches were around the 2300-2600ish..
1st and 2nd the shifts were around the 6500ish. 3rd, as per your and marskis advice at 6200 (this was done accurately).
shifting was done normally (no powershifting).

thanks for all the help dmaffo

WOODSTER.. yes i have to agree with you. its definetly a great package for just turbo/tune/exhaust. in addition a great platform to go to the next level as well. with some faster shifts, more practice i can squeeze a few more tenths off.

TOPGUN: definitely. let me know when you get your car.

i dont know about 1/8. im working now.
wll post 2 timeslips tonight.

jrgatfh: i know i heard about your car. they told me about it. i seen your pics when you posted it on forums. great job.

and yes the gt2 decklid was well done. Not cheap for the work, but i know that the quality was great.

S4corrado996TT: not with the right equipment.will get this done as soon as i get my hands on a driftbox. very curious for results since less factors come into play with this type of test.

iLLM3: how does wed the 14th of november sound? test n tune night..

voanja: thanks. i believe with race gas 630-650ish. at crank.
without my estimate is 610-620.. (at 1.2 bar)

im basing this on other peoples dynos, my butt dyno, and trap speeds.
