Well, if you are talking about making 1.2-1.3 overboosting at 3000 rpm it's clearly possible.
But, no way to get 1.2-1.3 at max power rpm.
It's over the technical possibilities of a stock k16.
It's 15% over their flow limit, based on what Borg Warner says.
1.2-1.3 bar at 6000 RPM is what a stock k24 can do, nothing more.

you are right . the k 16 can't do 1.3 at high rpm, but it can do 1.1

Just finished my Stage 2 modification of my 01 996 TT with 40k miles:

Maxspeed Motorsports stainless steel exhaust with headers & new spark plugs $2500 shipped
Maxspeed Motorsports diverter valves $235
FVD's ECU flash with BMC air filter $1717
Install $800
TOTAL: $5252

Smile on my face: PRICELESS!

I've gotta say the car is amazing now, and SCARY fast! I can't imagine what a 700 HP 996TT would be like. I just love the PULL! I'd highly recommend the above companies (Maxspeed Motorsports & FVD). They were very helpful and prices were great. Shipping was quick, and the ECU flash was a breeze!

My car was pulling 1.3 and 1.4 BAR when first flashed, but after a few hundred miles it came down and now pulls a steady 1.1 with an occasional 1.2/3 flash.
