US PSS-9 VS Euro PSS-9 differences? problems? with one vs other?

I was wondering what the difference is between the two and if the Euro PSS-9 had inherent problems that were adressed with the US version. Any info you can give me is appreciated.

Upon speaking with Bilstein, one of the differences is the diameter of the tender springs. THe US version tender springs are a smaller diameter supposedly to allow greater clearance for the rim and tire.
