I am with OAK (and would love to have one), so unless you are Walter,
Lieb, or Bernhard do not fool yourself into thinking you are in full control.

PSM save my life at Road America.

MK
Marty think about it this way, PSM might have saved you but you really overexerted the car's capability and you felt SAFE because of having the aid no? Not having any stability control system to ME makes ME the driver more conscious of every move and everything that I do within the car, that's my view at least... Hard to explain

If you have 911 track experience, you will be fine. 99.9% of the "widowmaker" comments come from people that have never step foot in one on or off the track and have no idea what they are talking about.
Good luck, and have a blast with it.

I drove my TT at two driver's events. I turned off the PSM on the second day and had no issues. It was actually more fun to drive. The fact that PSM comes on if required under braking is safety net enough.

Here is the way I see it. If you need PSM under braking, you better have it. Don't know too many people that slide the car under braking.

Porsche has a fantastic way of planting the rear if you give it gas. If you feel the rear coming out, step on the gas. Counter-intuitive, and un-nerving but works like a charm most of the time.

Absolute. Before I got my GT2, I was also worried about the "widowmaker" comments, but don't be. It CAN bite, but if you got at least some experience, and keeping your head clear, its just brilliant fun to drive it both on roads, and track.

LuisGT3 (Jr) is totally correct.
Marty, thank you for your comments...

JRZ, with the kind of cars you have or have droved before, you should know better. The most important part of driven a GT2 fast, to the limit, at the track, is the nut behind the wheel.
Experience, Experience, Experience…..
