John D's Exhaust

I got the exhaust installed today, here are my thoughts

It does not spool quicker, however, the turbo lag is gone. Very responsive, the turbos kick in very quick. The car has a much more aggressive growl to it, a much needed improvement

I would recommend this to anyone

Also, the exhaust tips look wonderful on the midnite blue

Hi Christian,

I'm glad to hear you like it. Take it for a ride tomorrow and enjoy it! Which turbos do you have, the K16's or K16/24's?

If your lag is gone, I think you have earlier or quicker onset of spool, which is typical of a free flowing exhaust...enjoy the reduction of lag and the new sound!

We picked up an inch of snow in the past 2 hours and everything is covered in white, I think my driving season may be over...I had a great last day today, though - the car was running great and sounded awesome in the 30 degree weather. I'll miss it.

Christian,

glad you are happy, I am too and the tips do look sublime on the Midnight Blue!

It snowed 3-4 inches here today...good fun in the Cayenne with brand new snows on!

Marty,

I think your snow is arriving here tomorrow. Weather outlook: Sunday Night & Monday....Low pressure over western NY will begin weakening, as a new low forms just to the south of New England. It is this intensifying new low that will likely bring a lot of snow late at night into Monday.....Snow will fall most of Monday, and will likely accumulate more than 6 inches across many areas before tapering off in the afternoon.

I think this confirms our driving season here is over. It's time to begin the Proto intake pipes install...

Marty, do you put your car away for winter?

Kinda like saying "I do not have six, I have half-a-dozen."
