Anyone know what kind of transmission modifications are required to run to 200-206mph in a GT2?

I just keep thinking of Rob "Loneman" Kenworthy from the Gumball 3000 and they have video of his dash showing 206mph. Obviously the digital dash readout doesn't mean he was actually doing 206 with the error percentage on it but I remember reading somewhere on the m5board (where hes a member) that the car had some gearing changes to "make it run out a little stronger on the top end".

Any ideas on what he did?

 

I have driven my car many times at a speed equal to three times my age. I'm 70. Oh **** it hurts to put that in writing. Oh well,WTF?

I appretiate that from you ,,,about the exhaust yes i do , its very nice , useful ...
even my brother on his 997 turbo ,, its amazing , the best exhaust sound i`ve ever heared ... by the way , even my brother has a 9ff 997 turbo (manual) , " performance box " 100-300 : 24.4 sec .. 9ff (exhaust , ECU , manifold) only .

ASM, I see a red tube going to the IC shroud in the center pic....IC spray?

 

Yes ... it sprays a cold water or you can add alcohol on it to make it colder ... on/off switch fitted in the door step , beside the exhaust quiet/loud valve ... it costs around 500 euro , its very nice .

Currently its canceled from my car , Now im using water cooled inter coolers , using the coolant water to cool the intercoolers ... it cost around 7000 euro ... very very very effective and nice .. " it looks nice also "

 

Wouldn't the coolant make the ICs boiling hot?

Interesting thread. I remember that the Veilside Skyline GT-R did 0-300 km/h in the 13 second range.

My best is a little over 165 with two people in the car but of course that's nothing compare to these guys in europe.
