I bought my first Porsche after college in 1988. A used 1986 944. I had that car until 1999. 140,000 miles and never any major problems. There was something wrong with the steering column and at that time, I had no money to repair it, so I had to trade it in for 2500 bucks. They stole her from me!

my first porsche: 2001 boxster s
current: 2006 cayman s

interesting, as i was being sold on the cayman s i was told to buy it based on the quality of my 2001 boxster s. that was the same car that had to have 2 rms replaced. turned out to be a very disapointing car.

Still own the Turbo and GT3, love them both. If I had to pick, GT3 is the best ever.
