I've been bitten by the bug

A friend of mine who is a car wholesaler got in a 03 X50 today to resell. Knowing how crazy I am about these cars he told me to take it for a spin. I was also curious to see what an X 50 drove like in comparision to my car a regular Turbo.
The first thing I noticed was that the exhaust sounded a little throatier at idle. Not much just a little. Once I got going in the car and floored it I noticed the car was hitting .9 in every gear. I guess that is normal for a X50. the car felt a little faster but not 18,000 dollars faster. The main difference was the way the car sounded. Especially when the turbos spooled up. In fact, the car sounded so good that I pulled over to look under the car and see if it was a stock exhaust mid way through the drive.

Well it wasn't, it was a FVD exhaust. Needless to say I am ordering an exhaust tonight or tomorrow because this is a must have. The only way to decribe it is that it is intoxicating. The model number is 210 111 996 10.

I would love feedback on whether this is a good exhaust or am I better off going with a FABSPEED loud or Dr. Bill's FABSPEED quiet. I loved the sound level of the FVD exhuast. I also loved the way you could hear the turbos. Totally changed the experience. I didn't want to mod the car yet but my car is just not the same anymore. Other suggestions are welcome.....

I am also curious.... I have resigned myself to going with Europipe, but I can't decide whether to go with the quiet or loud version. I have no idea what either sounds like in person. Does anybody know if the loud version is more like the FVD?

go with the fabspeed quiet..i have the loud, but i like a loud car..the fab speed gives you the most power out of any of the exhausts..i have been selling them to my customers for 4 years now and no complaints!!!good luck
