Gauge Installation Opinions Requested

BTW, one of my favorite things about my Supra was everytime I'd turn it to ign position, all 4 gauges (3 on pillar, 1 in dash) would zero-out, wind to max position, and then back to zero... felt like a pilot in a fighter. It also at peak/hold as well as replay. Very useful when tuning. I see that the constraint you have is gauge size due to desired location. I know I'm most likely in the minority in this, but I love a-pillar gauge mounts. It's ideal in terms of line of sight and distance, and I simply love the look.

With the recent interest and installation of Ken's smaller steering wheel and gauges, I thought this thread, from a while back, may be of interest.
Still looking to do something really cool.

My personal opinion is to install the HKS CAMP (Computerized Automobile Multi Player). It hooks up to existing video screens in the car and since you already have the Nav/DVD screen you just pipe it in there.
It displays all the data on your Nav screen while you are driving. You can hook up 6 different gauges (i think its 6).
It is different and looks high-tech. It is also clean because you dont have to worry about mounting physical gauges anywhere.
