THis day was super successful! I was most impressed by the Upsolute chip on the k16 car. The afr's were great and the power was astonishing for a cheap chip. After seeing Giac programs running super rich coming onto boost(10's,even smelled it) it was nice to see a clean tune on the dyno via Upsolute. SO UPSOLUTE THUMB UP BABY! 420 488 awhp awtq!

Maciej@RPM is infamous around these parts
I'd like to also clarify that the car was running drag radials. Which in turn alters the results of the dyno run.

The TT with the Upsolute also had the highest power numbers on a Stage 2 down in So Cali. I wonder if they make a program for those hybrids that I have?

How do drag radials make any difference at all? Sounds like you're reaching. Car ran great, why throw out something like that...

FWIW....I own a dyno :

Air'ed down warm drag radials -3to5%
Air'ed down hot slicks - yikes sometimes as much as 10%

When we have cars with drag radials or slick, we usually run ALOT of pressure in them to try to make up for the additionally drag.

Ok cool, didn't know thanks. But like anything else, you compensate for it. So at that level it's like another 17-28hp at most, and that's assuming you run them with low tire pressures and hot anyway. Why wouldn't you run higher pressures to make up for it. It's like saying that the car would've run better with better fans, cooling, more boost, fuel, [insert excuse here]

I just don't understand the excuses - it ran what it ran.

The car put down 677rwhp initially when we dyno tuned it previously last month. It isn't compensating, there are several different factors when dyno'ing a car, you can dyno your car today and then tomorrow, you'll have different results. I'm stating what I was told to write, to explain thats having the d/r's was one of the factors.

And to clarify. I'm not reaching. I know what this car is capable of.

The car ran 10.9 @ 139mph, the horsepower numbers and quarter mile times don't match up.

Edit: You're right, the car runs what it runs, if you believe with that low number we ran a 10.9 @ 139mph I'm fine by that

I like the fact you guys posted what the car ran.
The car really flies, that much we know. I do not know what boost controller
problems you had but I know that when my boost controller went dead and I ran
.8 bar versus 1.35 to 1.38 bar it was a difference of 125-150 RWHP!! This is not a direct comparison, but the boost controller is key if you are using one.
