What size external wastegates to use?

I basically have a Stage IV (Flash, Evo Intake, K24 headers, Milltek exhaust, Evo wastegates & BOV, K24s, silicone hoses, 5 bar FPR, etc.). I want to get a local shop to fabricate and install external wastegates on my K24 headers (with 1 bar springs and a Greddy electronic boost controller), but I don't know what size Tial external wastegates to buy. Should 38mm be big enough, or should I go larger? Thanks for any advice guys.

35/38mm will be just fine. Although the larger 40/44mm with V-band flange is always nice. The 2 bolt flanges have a tendency to leak.

I am going with Tial 44's for that reason. I will be using them in conjunction with the HKS EVC VI BC which I think it is the best choice for me. I have started the installation. Now I just need someone to tell me which hoses to cut and tee.

Exactly, the only reason I would use 44mm over 38mm is to get the vband flanges....
