20" wheels

I know a few here have called GFG (Giovanna) wheels crap, but they have one set of 20" wheels that looks really nice. Does anybody know if their quality has turned around, if not what is it that is crap about them?

Michael,

I think you can achieve a similar look but with a better quality wheel if you go with HRE. They are hard to beat!

Besides the weight factor, 20" wheels will force you into oversize tires and change your gearing to taller gear ratios.

Robert,

I agree, HRE is my preferred brand. I am also not advocating using 20" wheels, in fact I think there is enough evidence that sticking with 18" wheels is actually more ideal than 19". Although, I do like the looks of 19" wheels.

The GFG car is using 19" front and 20" rear, is it not?

Although many wheels look great, keep in mind that just because a wheel will fit on a car does not mean it is made for that application and will work properly as well.
