Modifying Fabspeed Exhaust - Thoughts and Comments
My Fabspeed Sport is awesome and added a ton of power (with the GIAC Stage 2, etc.)
BUT it is a bit too loud (and the local Police are starting to take notice), so Performance Outfitters called Joe from Fabspeed who has graciously suggested the following -- And I wanted some input from my fellow 6speeders:
Weld on perforated cones that are welded into the exhaust inlet tracks. There are 2 cones that are cut/shortened and welded into the inlet of the muffler.
Has anyone done this and what is the end-result (sound, resonance and effect on power).
Thanks

I have the Fabspeed quiet that I bought used from Racer 63. He had the cones installed prior to me buying it. I don't know if it is comparable but mine sounds nice, certainly not loud enough to catch a police officer's attention but it does resonate in the cabin a little from 2500 to 3000 rpm.
