New IForged Wheels and K24/18G Started

Just got a customers car back in here that we are playing with. We just put on his IForged wheels. 19x8.5 19x12 with Nitto Invo tires. All high polished, looks good

We are doing our K24/18G setup on the car. Turbos are coming off and being sent to Mr. Proto. Stay tuned!

Dan,

Do you know if the K24/18G can run on standard X50 upgrade flash staying within fuel limit and 1.2 BAR?

ARI - I was told by someone you could run the car with the stock X50 map. Personally I would do the right thing and have it remapped correctly for the additional fuel, new rev limit, adjusted timing, and difference in boost and turbos.

RCNJ - Are we a Proto dealer now. I am buying these turbos from Todd at Protomotive. We have a good relationship. Some of our products are competing and some are totally different in how we do things. At the end of the day, Protomotive has an incredible rep and product. We have established a great rep with the 6speed community. We will continue to release and develop new solutions to the others (non listed here) once overpriced products.

emjay1133 - have you looked at the 3piece wheel market? everyone has a similar wheel. Kinesis, Fiske, BBS, HRE, IForged, and the other 32000 3piece companies!

Onetime - I think you will be happy to see our before and after results. Since we use the best dyno out there for tuning and real world numbers, we are usually the heart breaker, so whatever our dyno reads, add 10% or so for what a DynoJet would read.

Thanks much Dan. I'll be using the Mustang, aka heartbreaker, also.

Dan, since I have new K-24's this is the way I am going to go. You will get my turbos to start. What bar are the hybrids going to run at. I dont really want the whole boost controller thing, I want to run 93 octane.
Already have the intake, going with your headers. Changing to 5bar FPR and GT2 fuel pump. Have your hoses, and did the diverters.
what HP will that bring me too?

Also, what about the plenum?? leave alone or change??
And lastly, the injectors and fuel system, upgrade or stick with what I did above?

You have been key in helping me with this decision, thanks so much!!

You sound like you want the same setup as Marty K. You should contact him about his setup. I saw it in person at the Texas Mile... it was an awesome setup! I hope this helps.

You can run 1.2 - 1.3bar. The stock boost solenoid can handle it. Plenum? Dont waste your money on that $1000 cast POS, we are in the process of making one now. Stay tuned For now, leave it alone. Fuel injectors are not needed here. With the GT3076's you will need to run bigger injectors though. You know as I always say, spend the extra dough and get the bad boy setup!
