a couple will occasionally. If the cop is right on you, people will pull over and take off as he approaches their car and they will have a nice head start.

This guy needs to learn how to use a clutch though

After my first high speed run with a c5z06 who was filming, when he handed me my camera he broke the news that we could go to jail if caught and that he always outruns the fuzz. Ignorance WUZ bliss 4 me but not any more.

Usually the cops call in the plate before they even come to the window, that driver was a moron...if he wanted to run he should have run from the get go

Happened here in Utah.

Link

News last night said that he's been arrested for the incident, but not for theft.....?

Evidently he's the owner's roommate.

It was totally inappropriate to do that. Once one is caught, to cause harm to an officer is beyond the pale. They risk their lives for us all the time.....this has me quite angry.

Guys, the cop may have kids, a wife. The P car guy was likely going too fast and was caught for it. Most of us go too fast....but once your are caught, in a civil society, one needs to behave.

I hope the driver gets a HUGE felony conviction if possible. Jail time, and a big fine. Permanent loss of license is a reasonable thing in my book.

If you get caught, take it "like a man" (no sexism implied, sorry to the ladies).

My dog has more honor than that driver.

This video and any "bouncing smiles" will reasonably **** of troopers all over for other P car owners. Think about it.

JCB

Flame away!

I'm not sure why some of you thought this was funny. Which part was more comical? Was it that he was doing his job by stopping a stolen car, or was it the fact that he could have been killed by being drug down the street at 50mph by some jerkoff?

Everytime I see something like this involving a P-car it pisses me off as well. It only makes the police think the rest of us are likely to do something as stupid if pulled over. They do risk their lives for us daily and they don't need any added stress or anger because they've pulled over a Porsche.
