My engine compartment light is constantly on even the engine lid is fully closed. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

 

Mine did that, make sure your glove box is closed completely. The small metal piece up inside the glove box compartment that shut off the small glove box light was bent out of shape after I took out the glove box to replace the latch and it caused the deck lid to stay on. If not, it may be the sensor in the deck lid or the lock mechanism and/or the deck lid may need a slight adjustment.

 

it's wired parallel to the front lid also.. if your front lid or maybe door is unlatched you may have left something unlatched....
