PCM1 - Who has upgraded?

For those of you who have upgraded their PCM1 system, does anyone have the CD Drive portion sitting around? I think mine is on its way out and I was hoping to pick up someone's take-off unit. Please let me know if you have one available?

Thanks,
Michael

Mine died. Cost at the dealer 2400 or so...so I went Pioneer Avic D3. ....and it is much better (xm, nav, xmnav, usb, bluetooth, ipod, custom lcd color so it matches my other things.....1800 for it all installed...).

In NYC, you should have lots of installers. Every now and then something pops up on EBAY.

Do you have the CD Drive portion still? I think the screen portion works fine, but 50% of the time I get a "CD Upside Down" error, making me think the drive needs to be replaced.

I sold it broken on ebay for 100 dollars.....whole system. Really.

I had the same error. I was told the CD section (which is the brains to be honest) was toast. No repair options in the country, at least a year ago when I looked, so I bit the bullet and went Pioneer. I suppose I could have gone PCMx....or even OEM pcm1, but I think I am ahead. No issues at all so far.

I tried cleaning it, etc. No dice.

Good luck.
