I have over 200K miles log in 930s/965/993TT and 996TT over the course of 10 years. I have driven some type of forced induction Porsche daily. In all I have had 30 Porsches. That number is probably higher, but I know at least that much. Snow rain, sun..doesn't matter.

Thanks..my first was a 1967 911s. First thing I did when I got out of grad school. I knew this car for years, or at least the owner. I drove it for four hours and missed a gear jacking around with a bike and shoved the tranny in 2 instead of 4th. We normally call that the 4-1 money shift. Bent every valve in the motor. Then found out that it was a complete pile of rust and I got had. I figured I would learn all I could and that wouldn't happen again. The rule became drive them daily and you WILL learn them. I couldn't afford to take them to others to work on so I did it myself. Heck, it is an art to drive an old 930 in the snow. Snow shoes would have been better suited.
